Yes.
We have a clown conman for a head coach who hired a geriatric buddy-buddy yes-man as OC. Neither could sniff a job at another Power 5 school.
In light of that, if you have a chance to grab a player that’s been coached by Nick Saban for two years, you take him, no questions asked.
Saban would never release him to transfer here, but my point stands.

Absolutely. A 2 year starter who played at a high level in the SEC. His passing stats didn't set the world on fire but in the right system, his completion percentage is acceptable, he doesn't turn the ball over and he adds the unpredictable element of his scrambling ability which was responsible for 2 plays that beat LSU in 16 and the 17.
No, we shouldn't aspire to have Jalen Hurts as our savior or standard bearer of QB play. But if he wanted to play at LSU, I'd be happy to have him.

No! You have to understand the damage that would do to recruiting for a long time if we impulsively grab a quick fix while the fans and coaches completely shite on #2 and #15. This is NOT the NFL and some Dez Bryant Brandon Marshall situation.
