If you were the decision maker in today's game, would you fire a coach with this record at LSU? State your reason(s).

5–6
10–2
8–3
11–1
10–2
6–5
9–3
8–4
7–3
9–3
7–4

Yes. It shows he’s on the down turn and isn’t improving.

Only after he wins a National championship.

In this hypothetical, what if it comes out the coach liked the hanky-panky (you know, “mentoring”) with the co-eds?

Especially in a 6-5 year

Gents, I’ve fixed the subject line. It needed to be enhanced to keep the children at bay.

This is a serious question with a surprising outcome.

I love you, bud. May Jesus grace and protect you and your family for all the days of your life.

For all those who hate me. I forgive you.

Is this before they started give out free shoes? Bobby clearly started perfecting his cheating shortly after.

You the man bud? It’s amazing that in todays game, it’s 3-4 year and you’re out if 1. Coach hasn’t delivered an SEC Title a minimum.

11 years it took Bowden to break through, but when he broke through he did it bigly. The money has ruined the game.

Yes.

Because it isn’t good enough. Six years without a ten win season is not acceptable at LSU.

I would fire BK for an 11-1 season if he fricked my wife and then killed her. but if he went 5-6, frickd her, and left her alive, i'd be fine w/ him still coaching

This was Bobby Bowden’s record in his first 11 seasons at FSU. Like most said here, this record would undoubtedly get a coach fired in today’s game.

I guess it’s the sign of the times.

Dude it was FSU in 70s. Before he got there they won a total of 4 games combined the 4 years before that. A 7-4 season was a good season. They were basically Miss St. they weren’t letting him go no matter what at that point.
