On tv it was hard to figure out witch band was playing because Clemson has stolen most of our songs. Was there a big difference hearing the bands in the stadium? Are their versions that much different from ours?

LSU band was much louder to me since I was sitting near them. I will say it was confusing when I rewatched the game on TV since most of the songs played are very similar.

When I heard Neck on the television broadcast I figured the CLemson band was playing it and we stole it from them and made it ours.

ESPN usually has microphones right by the bands and the student sections. That’s why Clemson’s band and fans sounded loud on TV

I was up in the Terrace in the LSU end zone. I could barely hear our band. Heard Clemson band loud and clear from other end zone.

I recall past Sugar Bowls where they put extra bleachers on sidelines for the bands. Wish they’d have done that. We could have heard ours and they would’ve had more tickets to sell.

I was just happy that I didn't have to hear that got dammed Oklahoma song for the 8,716th time.

The bands were obnoxious on the ESPN broadcast.

A good portion of the band was under the overhang. That alone blocks out most of the sound.

The band did not play neck. It was load by the student section and on the broadcast. If it was a non-fight song on the broadcast, it was the LSU band.

You couldn’t hear our band because they were beneath you.

It was stupid that they stuck both bands in the corners under the overhangs.

It was a veritable overload of Hold That Tiger and Tiger Rag. It was bizarre hearing the slightly different Clemson version during plays that were bad for LSU.

It’s easy to hear the difference in TGBFTL and that trash from Clemson.

Easy.

One sounds like real musicians. The other like a HS band.
