I haven’t seen enough to tell me very much. Can anyone give me some evidence to suggest that he’s going to be a top tier college QB. Maybe someone who has insight to practices or has inside dope on the kid?

It’s an onset question because I just haven’t seen him play except very limited spot duty or garbage time. I’m trying to be optimistic about the future.

Nobody here can accurately predict what he will be. Nobody here has seen him enough to know anything.

Yes he has an incredibly strong arm and his accuracy continues to improve. My only concerns with him is that he appears to be too introverted. Needs to be more of a vocal leader this offseason. He also has a high football IQ and is surprisingly mobile. Similar to Burrow. He also needs to work on his comfort within the pocket. He gets a little ancy sometimes and can stare down receivers.

Look for him to have a big spring and make huge strides! Future is bright, he is the real deal.

The truth is we won’t know until we see it with our own eyes. He’s got a really strong arm but seems to get jittery under pressure and stare down receivers hopefully he can shake that off now that it looks like he’s the guy.

Don’t know how good Brennan is going to be, but if I were Myles, I would take a page from Burrow and get with my receivers during the off season and work on pitch and catch drills to get to know these guys really really well and get on page with them.

He’s better than King by a long shot.

Rocket arm, extremely high football IQ. Holds Mississippi High School Offensive records with over 16,000 yards and 166 TD's. Learned from Burrow for two years. I see it evolving similar to when Rodgers took over for Farve.

Here's his HS SR film. The current offense is much closer to what he ran in HS.

Brennan SR season highlights

Getting time with the 1's, the full attention of the coaches and a scheme that better fits his skill set should make a big difference.

My biggest knock on Brennan is that he doesn’t know how to throw a touch pass. Has to gun it every time.
Case in point that 10 yard swing pass to Emery way back was uncatchable

He has the skills but his ability to lead on the field is unknown. We just don’t know enough.

This is a fair statement and personally I hope he adds some mass to his frame, the SEC West can be brutal facing the best defensive linemen in the country.

Did you notice the difference in Burrow last year to this on touch passes? He struggled with fades and back shoulder throws last year. His deep throws were average. If you watch Brennan's HS film he makes a lot of nice touch throws. He has to get the continuity with his WRs. He'll get that in the offseason.
