Let’s say the plan was Burrow, then Narcisse and McMillan fight for QB2/wildcat then Brennan agrees to redshirt.

Then say Brennan refuses to redshirt, Coaches put him at Qb2, then Narcisse and McMillan leave.

Seems likely.

Alternative QB theory - Loving and Sale were higher on the depth chart than McMillan and Narcisse.

Brennan was not being considered for a damn red shirt. You clowns have got to stop with this red shirt bullshite. Go buy a red shirt and root for Old Mississippi.

What? Brennan did not refuse the redshirt. Just because they told him he is number 2 on the depth chart doesn't mean they weren't going to redshirt him; it just meant he was the next man up if Burrow went down.

Itsnin his best interest to red shirt rather than play meaningless snaps and only have 1 year of elligability post Burrow.

So seems unlikely

I'm pretty sure the consensus is Brennan understands redshirting this season is his best decision long term. He has patience that Narcisse seems to lack and I think McMillan just wants to play some actual football before joining us regular schmucks.

Yes, but that is not how these things work here in the real world. You don't sit around hoping you can red shirt your backup quarterback. Too many clowns on this board.

This is pretty stupid considering he can still red shirt as the #2. Even in a red shirt season, you're allowed a certain number of in game snaps.

The more likely thing is exactly what Narcisse said, he doesn't want to just be a wildcat guy. He's still developing as a passer and clearly isn't ready. He wants to go somewhere that he'll get the opportunity to throw the ball and develop. McMillon likely just wants to get some playing time. He's a senior.

No it doesn't.

If you can play 4 games and keep anredshirt you do.

It would be very helpful
To then team long term if Brennan Can RS.

If he’s needed for 4 games so be it. It’s not like you have to declare these thugs st the begging of the season.

Cool, then you can start threads every day asking where is a good place to watch LSU games in San Quentin prison.

Hopefully, it will get on the nerves of people who start stupid threads like this one.

McMillian is irrelevant. He’s been here for years and was never going to be a starter or 2nd string. He was only mentioned this year because of how thin we were at QB. Then Burrow comes in and the writing is on the wall.

Retarded thread...especially with the new red shirt rules.

Right, I agree Sammy, it would be great indeed, but it's still "perfect-world" territory, and I just don't see it happening that way.
