Choosing JD5 was a decision motivated by the O-line and their perceived ability to protect the passer. They are way better than when the year started but it is still the same guys playing and need more experience together. Spring and pre-season will be the same process this coming year with maybe different results. Look.. if JD5 improves as a pocket passer…he will be great, not just good. We may never see it with the NFL looming in the spring.
bullshite! Kelly & Denbrock have a history of relying on the legs of their QB because they can't develop the passing game! Jayden was going to be the starter day 1!
