It’s amazing what 1 year can do. Last year we were all gawking over Joe Burrow when he simply made an audible at the LOS during the Miami game. Now it’s commonplace for him to drop 400+ yards a game.

It’s really nice to have confidence in our QB but man we had some low expectations historically.

hahaha I remember losing it a little over the audible.

what we're seeing now is what I imagined at that moment.

hopefully we can start developing our own and brennan comes out next year playing to his potential, because he's got a lot of it, and I know there are players on the team that even wanted him to start before Joe earned the job and everyone's respect

The same system that the Saints have used to make a average athlete like Brees into a HOF lock has made the difference with Joe.

Not so fast! Drew is a great athlete:

At the age of 12, he was the top-ranked tennis player in Texas and defeated Andy Roddick three times as a junior.

That same year he set an Austin city record with 14 Little League home runs and was chosen to play on a youth soccer select team.

A few years later he starred in three sports at Westlake High School: football, basketball and baseball, where he was a power-hitting infielder and a hard-throwing right-handed pitcher with an 88-mph fastball.

Does it hurt? I would imagine it would be physically painful going through each day being this dumb.

This might be the dumbest thing I have ever read.

it's truly remarkable to go from what we were to one of the most dynamic offenses in the country

How in the hell did this thread go from commending Joe to insulting one of the greatest QBs ever. Get outta here with that crap.

Hmmm...what significant thing happened between last year and this year?

Answer in the form of a question please.

Obviously the Brady hire has paid dividends so far but I also think the fact that Burrow had the whole offseason to assimilate into the program and work with his WRs has to be up there as well, right?

Answer in the form of a question ;)

Also, an All-American Heisman trophy finalist at Purdue...I'd say Brees was already a pretty good athlete before he got to the Saints.

What program? The offense is completely different. As great as I think Joe is in any offense...he was truly meant for this offense. If Brady is not here..the offense is probably not a whole lot different from last year. Brady is responsible for the WRs hardly dropping any passes..with the jugs machine and innovative practices he’s employed.

I do believe that played a huge part and I alluded to that. I also believe there is something to be said about bonding and developing chemistry with your team. He didn’t have that time before last season.
