The 2011 Defense was better than Bamas that year. Bama was a much better team. They won because our offense was so unbelievably incompetent on the championship. Their offense was a lot better and as a team they were better that night.

Highly doubt it, but ya never know.

2013 offense was first in history of SEC with a 3000 yard passer, 1000 yard runner and two 1000 yard receivers. So, 2007 may not be my first choice.

Even our nickel back on the 2003 defense played in NFL for years. Best ever LSU def I've seen.

I'm gonna have to go with this combo.

2003 defense was better than 2011. Absolutely dominant force.

Wow, a lot of love on here for the 2006 offense. They were good, but to identify it as the best O is to look more at the roster than the results. The 2006 O did really well later in the year but scored a mere 3 points against Auburn and only something like 10 or 13 against Florida. In terms of production, the 2007 O seems like an easy choice to me, with 2013 probably second.

For D, I have to go with 2011 by a hair over 2003, with a nod to the 1969 (?) unit that gave up something like 30 yards per game rushing in a running era.

2011 special teams are the best I've seen.
