Proud of you guys and looking forward to 2019

Downvote all you want....but there have been several factors that have us down this year. I AM VERY PROUD of everyone of these young men. It's obvious the NCAA thought it would be cute to send us to the Corvallis regional so screw them.
There is only so many injuries etc that a team can overcome.
Tiger baseball team .... I am very proud of you guys.

NCAA you got what you wanted so good for you and as I type this, the ESPN announcer says "and vengeance is theirs"....so that tells you got your wish.

As much as I get on people for giving up early on the baseball team, I even have to admit it's time to start thinking about tomorrow.

So NSU plays better than LSU under the exact same circumstances. NSU starts their ace, OSU starts a guy with a 10-1 Record and microscopic era.
They actually score some runs and keep it reasonably close. LSU gives up in the 4th.

He was talking about OSU taking us to the woodshed.

Getting to GO TO A REGIONAL IS A PRIVILEGE THAT IS TO BE EARNED! Then it should be taken seriously and played to a certain level of competency.
Tonight is an embarrassment to the brand that was established beginning in 1984. I can only imagine what Skip is cursing under his breathe when he sees bunts popped up, the CFer pulling up on balls that could be caught if he laid out, pitchers walking multiple batters in a single inning, the THIRD OUT BEING MADE AT 3RD BASE ON AN OVERTHROW BY A GUY WHO CANT RUN OUT OF SIGHT IN A WEEK, runners left in scoring position inning after inning by strikeouts and weak popouts and even weaker groundouts, etc. No actually I don't have to imagine. I actually know what he is saying because I have heard him say all those things when similar things have happened in much smaller batches.
All I can say is Abner, we apologize. This is not the way it was designed by you to be played!
Maybe we play better tomorrow. I certainly hope so.

Physically we don't match up with other teams.
We don't have guys who look like future MLB ballplayers.
There's not a starting position player who weighs more than 200 pounds. Most don't even measure over 6'. Look at the opposing players. They are physically bigger, stronger and athletic.
As for comparing this team to 2009, we don't have nearly the power that team had.
Mainieri is a great coach but his recruiting philosophy is flawed for today's game.

I have to say it is lame on the NCAA part. They only sent them to to this regional to have the story from last year. Destinations should not be based on storylines.
