How do the golf teams spend that much money? There expenses should be golf balls and travel/lodging. They can only do one event/match per week.

the same for soccer and volleyballs. There expenses are uniforms, balls and travel/lodging. I guess those teams do have a lot of players though. Still don't get golf.

INB4, but we don’t have enough money to pay for a real football head coach.

Do the players pay for their own clubs or is the school on the hook for them? Is it legal for the companies to give clubs to player, they're not cheap.

The irony is that Title IX only works because of the money from football.

I mean there is no question the foundation for all sports is due to money from football. State of a football program heavily influences everything else.

Beach Volleyball? You have to be frickin kidding me. Now why in the he'll do we have a damn beach volleyball team? Don't we have a ice hockey team too, or we did at one point? Some of these sports could totally disappear and the vast majority of LSU fans wouldnt give a shite. I know I wouldnt.

No they shouldnt. It would just be another drain of our athletic departments money. There isn't near enough interest in soccer. No offense but soccer is a boring and lame sport. They should do away with the women's soccer team too.

I would think if they were good enough to make a college team they would already have custom made golf clubs. If not I think they may have sponsors that provide them.

No, they don't buy their own goof clubs lol. Every sport at LSU, and the equipment they use to play said sport, is funded by the LSU ADept. LSU is on the hook for everything.
