I really dont get how some folks have Alexander so low. He was a sure fire 2nd/3rd rounder a few weeks ago now some sites like this one have him going last couple rounds.

He has a medical red flag or something?

Well they have Mills as last pick in draft and Debo as UDFA so I wouldn't put much stock in this.

210 before LSU gets a spot.

Yeah, ok.

Probably why profootballfocus is a shitty site with a shitty name.

They're one of the top football site for NFL analysis

They literally hosted seminars at the Senior Bowl with NFL Scouts and Coaches breaking down film and players.

Their performance based ratings system is incredibly flawed and far from gospel truth. This is especially true when projecting CFB prospects for NFL. There's a reason they just run a website and aren't hired by teams.

Lulz. What a complete fail.

As for Vadal, he is not an OT but the guy can be at least a Trai Turner-level success at OG. He'd be a steal in the 4th round much less dropping to the 7th.

Vadal is no where near the talent as Trai Turner. Turner was special at LSU. He was overlooked because he didn't have the hype coming in. Vadal is a big body, but he struggles big time with pass blocking. His run blocking is above average but he's not the mauler u would expect him to be with at his size.

They must be doing something right if they among the best in NFL analysis. This also has nothing to do with the LSU players

You do realize that Trai Turner has turned into 1 of the best OGs in the entire NFL right?
He's on a whole diff level in terms of athleticism than Vadal is and is just as strong as him. He's really really good.

At anything in sports media being considered the "best" because they are popular. The only thing right they are doing is being popular so people think they are right. And it is about LSU because regardless of how their career turns out Mills and Jones have the quality to be drafted by at least 3rd or 4th round. Website "analysts" saying one is Mr. Irrelevant and the other is UDFA is ridiculous.

I actually think that PFFs NFL player grades are decent.

But it's almost impossible to mathematically grade/rank players in college because there are so many teams / players and thy come from diff levels of competition. The playing field isn't the same like it is in the NFL, therefore their college player grades are watered down a bit and not that accurate.

But their NFL player grades are solid IMO.

Their NFL grades are better yes but there are still some that show how flawed it is. They don't take into consideration the context of the play like what their teammates are doing, who they are matched up against and much more. Their college ratings are horrendous because as you said everyones playing different people.

Agree with a lot of that.

And there are flaws with just about every grading / ranking system out there. Anytime you try to turn a guys play into a mathematically equation and numbers game, there are going to be flaws.

But their NFL grades are solid IMO. I mean the guys playing better tend to have higher grades and the guys struggling tend to have lower grades. And sure, you can argue that a guy should be ranked a few spots higher / lower, but it's not like they are 50 spots off for players. I like their rankings because it at least gives you an idea at the level of play someone is performing at. It's at least in the ball park.

And I don't really pay attention to their college rankings because of reasons I listed earlier

True they usually have NFL rankings in at least the same ballpark but not always. One example would be AP being ranked 28th best RB in 2015.

Hawkins to me is nothing but upside, a 4-6 round pick

Vadal is a mauler but has slow feet 3-6 round pick at guard

Debo looks like a playmaker. People talk about size, but look what teams are doing now. I'd have him in the top 3 rounds.

Mills again, better player than some LSU fans would give him credit for, top 4 round pick.

This is going to be a very weak draft class for LSU, but next year will be insane.
