Rewatching the spring game, I think I am most excited about our secondary getting back to form. I thought the communication and play looked light years better (I’m well aware it’s a spring game) but McGlothern was one who really stood out to me I thought he played a tremendous scrimmage.
CB- Stingley
FS- Ward/Harris
SS- Toles/Harris/Sage Ryan/Derrick Davis?
NB- Ricks/Flott
CB-McGlothern/Ricks (depends on who they like more at Nickel, I really hope they can find a way to put all three of McGlothern/Ricks/Stingley on the field at once

we need this guy on the field. Dude was creating havoc for our CB's.
and did nobody notice this young gentleman last year? For a true freshman, the dude played great when we put him in. Yeah he gave up a couple of big plays, but he made more stops. He's been impressive.
He started early in the spring game, dude was all over Boutte from the 1st play.

With the way teams are putting their best options in the slot these days, I wouldn’t be shocked if Stingley saw time defending the slot. Ricks and McGlothern on the outside.

I notice McGlothern last year.. He was a 5-star at one time, not sure why his ranking dropped.. But he looks like a 5-star talent to me...

Flash back to the early Saban years. His defense wasn't "Easy" to learn and it didn't fully gel until he moved #83 " Devery Hunt from WR to Safety. Nick knew that he had to have somebody playing centerfield that could vocalize all the calls, reads and adjustments to all the other DB's.
Flash forward to 2021. Enter Matt Langlois.........

I remember now.. he played both sides of the ball. They listed him a WR and he went down to 4 star if I'm mistake.
Guys, this is the same player who had like 3 pics in the all-star game. He looks like a legit talent.

Mcglothern looked good. Even on the fake spike TD, he stayed with his man and was in good position. Just got beat by one of the best WRs in the nation. It happens.
He's very good and needs to see the field a bunch.

You don’t understand, no one was game planning for him. You put Mcglothern on the field, as a corner, against Bama or Florida, and you are going to see some long TDs with McGlothern five yards behind the receiver.
Hide him at safety, and that would be fine.

I read your post and thought who is this moron and then looked at who authored it and said oh it’s “Pernod.”

CB- Stingley
CB- Ricks
NB- Flott
FS- Ward
SS- Toles or Harris or Ryan
I still wouldn’t be shocked to see them possibly use the last spot in the portal on a big time Safety if one lands in there.
