Well he blew his dream in the first real test... His opportunity to prove his doubters wrong (myself among them) was completely wasted. But its cool tho. He has a cajun accent.

what is the big deal about the buyout? It basically it ensures him that he'll get his paltry contract money should he be fired, which is standard in just about any profitable sport
He wont get fired this year, so next year it will be $8.5mil and $6mil the year after. id be shocked if there were many SEC coaches with lower buyouts

Mother of god. It's the Les Miles defenders all over again. Good Man. Loving father. Kids love him. None of which is reason to feel sorry for someone who just failed miserably at their job.
