I will say this about the students section, where they are located makes them feel somewhat removed from the game.
If you look at other schools, the students are basically on top of the court. At LSU they are 100 feet back.

I also have a suspicion that after football is over, more of the football fans will tune into basketball and we’ll get more of the “football crowd”.

4th game in and the bitching about attendance has already peaked.
Not everyone lives in BR, you know how much of a pain in the arse getting to campus on a Friday is for us who drive in for sporting events? Especially from the other side of the river.

Yep. The crowd was pretty into it tonight and got loud at key moments when we were down. This thread and the responses are terrible.
