PMAC floor does NOT need to be named after Dale Brown

I am not a Dale Brown hater, but he was fired for serious recruiting violations that got us a stiff three year probation. Set the program back for years.

NO it does not. He is good man but was one of the worse X and O coaches in the game. I can tell you that for a fact. He is def loved but he don’t need floor named after him. Along with Carlos Temple they set back LSU basketaball years

The court doesn't need to be named anything and Dickie V was blabbering about anything and everything for about 3 quarters of the game until he finally came to the realization that LSU was really freaking good.
With that said, Lester Earl said he lied and LSU sucked even with Pistol Pete until Dale Brown came along and sold basketball to LSU fans all across Louisiana and created many unforgettable moments and an atmosphere that people are still comparing things to until this day. LSU basketball was completely nothing until he came along.

Other than the question of why there is a need to name the court at this time, outside of pistol Pete, Dale Brown put LSU basketball on the map and should be respected in an appropriate manner for doing so. Whatever that may be.

Dale had a lot more talent then you think. He was not a good bench coach .Peeps like him so he could def recruit. Lucky too. Was on trip talking to troops and trips up on O’Neil.

For a few years, you could argue he had the best talent. I’m well aware of what slipped through his fingers. The loss to UTEP. He also went to final fours when he shouldn’t have been there. What I’m saying is, without him, our basketball history might be as storied as ole miss.

Dale Brown was NOT fired nor was he asked to leave. Dale made that decision.

The recruiting violations were based strictly on retribution by the NCAA against Dale. Dale deserves to have the Floor named after him.
