2Umpire just called a swing and miss strike three a foul ball. The bat didn’t even come close to hitting the ball. Florida pitcher struck him out on next pitch luckily. SEC do fricking better. These umpires are complete trash.

This is the part of this whole conversation that drives me insane. We know the success/failure rate of 18-22 year old kids, but we are not allowed to know a 40-50 year old man’s percentages.
Most fans know that umpires & other officials will miss calls. It’s part of the game. But if you’re umpiring at the SEC Tournament, you should be one of the best in the conference.
Show us the numbers. Let me know if this umpire is correct on 50% or 80% of his ball & strike calls.

Hahaha yea the guy said you can’t hit your way to wins or something like that and said it’s not sustainable what a joke! Pretty much said all we do is hit home runs against SC they hit the ball well and didn’t hit that many HRs from what I saw ! A run is a run I’ll take winning with HRs all day
