Someone send a video of this game to Aleva...this is what a hostile environment looks like. You can actuallly see them in the stands when you’re watching the game. Yet our students are behind the goal 15 ft back on the 1st row

I wanted to ask a question...glad you started this thread.

Do you think we would look and sound like that if we were playing #2 Duke?

Yep was gonna say, that place is going crazy. They are playing the number 2 team in the country, but still they are loud, throwing confetti and never sitting down!

Why?

Putting an enthusiastic student section in view of a national TV audience makes sense to me.

What would it take for students to camp out for an 11:00 AM game against Tennessee.

Would it even occur to them?

I'm not a fan of this idea. No one has ever built anything by waiting for something good to happen.

We have zero SEC losses. How many teams can say that?
Us, and the #1 team in the country

We're a legit 4-5 seed as of right now.

We're ranked in January for the first time in TEN years.

Don't give me that shite anymore. What the frick else are we waiting on?

LSU has 12,031 male undergrad students. We need 10% of that to be athletic-minded enough and masculine enough to get hyped for big time college basketball and set the tone for the crowd. Is that too much to ask? This was not a problem 15-20 years ago in the Jabari Smith / Stromile Swift days.

Maybe Aleva is willing to compromise. Allow the GBFTL to fire up the crowd & play neck without profanity. In return, the students get better seats for basketball. Surely the students can act like responsible adults for once.

We have yet to sellout the student section this year and the times we have had big student crowds yall complained about nerds sitting down low. From what I've seen on here, our students want nothing less than lower level mid-court seats and they don't even need to show up early to get them.

Yep we get it. You think LSU’s basketball atmosphere is WEAK.

We’ll see if you think this still after Auburn & Tennessee come to the PMAC. have you ever even been to a game when Kentucky is in town? It’s as rowdy as any in the conference for those games.

You realize the students would rather have Neck in all its glory than have better seats for basketball

The UK game last year was memorable tame for a crowd of about 12,000.

And we only lost by three...it’s not like they were up 20 the whole game.
