Do you strategically throw more hittable balls (obviously for strikes) , but to get the bats swinging more and possibly leading hitters to swing at more pitches like ones out the zone?

For example Kentucky just got a couple of hits against Lange and the team gets confidence and feels they're finding their timing and swing . but really Lange just laid down a couple fastballs to set up his breaking ball and off speed . Sorry if this seems really dumb. I'm a novice when it comes to baseball.

No. You dont throw a fastball down the dick and give up a gapper just to have the next batter swing at a breaker in the dirt

The only time a pitcher willingly throws a pitch that is an easy hittable ball is on a 2-0 or 3-0 count. Most hits come off of mistakes by the pitcher.

Even though at times you do throw balls down the middle, you generally try to outer or inner half of the plate.
