Pitch Marceaux vs Georgia and Hilliard vs Arkansas being that hilliard was the only picther to beat Arkansas. And has been domiant so far.

Can Hilliard pitch with that quick a turnaround? His pitch count Saturday was in the 80s I believe.

No and he shouldn't either.

Labas will prob start versus Georgia. He has essentially had 2 weeks off with a short bullpen on Friday.

So you wanna risk giving up 5 or 6 runs right off the bat like A&M and possibly blowing a NCAA bid ? Labas hasnt been sharp for a month. No way he should get a start in Hoover.

You say that like we have a stable of better options. This team isn’t going anywhere without Labas. He’s one of our 3 starters, period.

Hilliard will not have enough rest by Wednesday.

I hope Labas is rested now.

Is Makhail going to throw another pitch in his life after this season? If he wants to pitch on Wednesday let him. He'd be off until the following weekend.

Hilliard will not throw game 2 of the SEC tournament. Anyone that thinks he should is an idiot

People throw on Friday then Mondays in regionals all the time. That’s only two days off. He’d have 3 days off. I don’t think he’s going to but for a guy about to hang it up I doubt he’d say no if asked.

I somewhat disagree here. We have some Freshman who can deal — Floyd, Edwards, Coleman, ppl like Money & Hellmers too. I’d rather just save Labas for the game 1 regional, Marceaux game 2, and Hilliard Game 3. Labas gets enough rest to get the fatigue out plus we throw our ace vs most likely the #1 seed.

A young arm is going to have to come up big for us. I'd be surprised to see Marceaux against Georgia. If he does go, I would bet it would be the Wednesday game. I think PM goes with Hellmers or Money on Tuesday, Marceaux on Wednesday. I'd rather see Coleman go Thursday, I think Labas needs additional rest. I wouldn't mind Labas getting a week off until regionals.

I think we are going to see Hellmers or Coleman start Tuesday.

Marceaux is fatigued
Labas seems really fatigued
Hilliard pitched on Saturday

Piece it together. Hope Hellmers or Coleman can get you 5 innings, and let the bullpen finish the rest.
