I completely agree. Very disappointing

I don't give a shite about if it appeals to the fans at all. But if it remotely gets a player ready for kickoff or a play by hearing a song, whether that's "Bitch I'm From Louisiana" or the damn Spice Girls, play that shite.

I will agree that their music selection is garbage, though. To be fair, they likely can't play a lot of the shite players want to hear.

However, I would say maybe 1% of all people who leave their "overpriced seat" do it because they're hearing Van Halen instead of the band for during a stoppage in play. People leave because LSU games are a major social event, people want to be seen there and say they were there, and they leave once they see it as socially acceptable.

While I agree with you that no one leaves the games because of the music selection - I can give a frick less about a social event. I go to LSU football games because those 7-8 Saturdays, win or lose, make my year.

I agree. I hate the piped in music, the exception being "Bitch, I'm from Loweeziana" which has to be the greatest song ever written.

On one occasion, the LSU/ USM band were both playing, and they just started that bounce shite right over both of them. Terrible and takes away from the college football experience.

The band played stuff that got players equally as amped. I remember when we played Florida in like 2008 and players were dancing to neck or some other stuff they used to play.
