Nothing that came out of that story by Yahoo had any new information. Maybe it was a little more specific on the Naz situation but that was it. CWW and LSU has already gone through the worst of it in terms of leaks and info getting out. The NCAA still has ZERO proof, so business as usual for LSU basketball. Yahoo has already completely made up stuff about CWW and don't be surprised if they continue to do so.

If Wade wasn't let go last year he has to go 0-120 at this point to get fired

Reading what he allegedly said in a newspaper and actually hearing his voice say it on a recording is going to have a different impact. It's kind of similar as the impact the Ray Rice video had. It's one thing to know it happened and another thing to see/hear it happen. I think there could be more public pressure to fire Wade depending on what we hear.

the majority of the new "bad stuff" wasn't said by Wade. It was said about Wade. Here in America, we call that hearsay.

The Big one was when one of the Yahoo losers said the FBI was in Baton Rouge investigating him and the FBI came out and said they were not investigating him a all.

Irish, if the NCAA doesnt need proof and they have Will Wade by the balls, ....then why is he still the coach.

Yes they do proof.

Well, since the impeachment hearings hearsay evidence is now admissible according to the Democrats.

The NCAA knows that this cheating scandal has/is tarnishing the reputation of college sports. They know this is a public relations nightmare and are proceeding VERY carefully (which means slowly).

Look at this point in time I don't think this is anything other than "I heard from a guy who heard from a guy Wade was doing this."

2 of the players, Javonte and Naz, have both came out and said they didn't get shite (Which we all know they did but who cares) Javonte was even investigated. So until they can really find a paper trail or dirt this shouldn't matter.

So its really a matter of what one guy said compared to what another guy said as of now.

The NCAA literally has it in their by laws that they can not use anything that was thrown out in court or was not allowed in court as evidence. So they can't use any of these alleged wiretaps that weren't played in court and the FBI has not cooperated with the NCAA bc they don't give a shite about the NCAA.

Yeah we should bring back Johnny Jones. He’ll only win one or two conference games a year and we’ll average about 2500 a night in the PMAC, but he’ll do it the right way.

Except that Jones was part of the staff that put LSU under the most draconian sanctions the NCAA has ever given a basketball program.

The NCAA cannot use anonymous sourced information. Don’t think admissibility in court has anything to do with it. This mattered during the trial because once it was admitted it wasn’t anonymously sourced.

The question becomes where did Dawkins and HBO get the recording. If Dawkins can verify the authenticity of the recording, then its no longer anonymously sourced.

Now, all of the parties have already been investigated, so I’m not sure a recording without further information or cooperation from Dawkins does much for the NCAA investigation. Dawkins has nothing to gain by helping the NCAA.

I’m sure HBO is paying him nicely.

Fortunately for us, Kneejerk Reaction McGee, aka Joe Alleva, is no longer in charge. Woodward is going to be worlds better at handling this kind of thing

Something tells me LSU fans would be looking at this differently if the unfounded allegations were about Nick Saban or Dabo Sweeney...at least before this year.

Coach O just handled up on them both this season.
