This is going to get the media shut out from access to LF7. Les isnt going to play their games.

I think Les is being great to LF - especially compared to how that selfish asshat Spurrier exploited his stud RB at USCe with literally no regard to his future

I'll take the time...

In 2010, Lattimore was 2nd in rushing attempts in the SEC. Behind Cam Newton. Tied w/ Stevan Ridley
Fournette is averaging 14.3, 23.8 runs per game
Lattimore averaged 19.1, 23.2, 15.8

I'm inclined to say that your posts are fricking worthless.

But that implies that your posts have zero value when, in fact, your posts suck value out of this website.

Your posts are worse than worthless.

Even if he wasn't, he still wouldn't give them anything.

The guy prepares post game statements and laughs at the NCAA rule book.

Real MF'n talk. National and local news outlets are about to be pissed, but Les won't give a shite.

I was gonna take issue with that too.

I really haven't seen any overworked backs much in the SEC of late. Usually the main back gets 24-27 or so avg touches.

He sat out the last 4 minutes of the AU game as well as all of the fourth quarter & then against the cocks, he sat out close to half of the 3rd and all of the fourth quarters. Thoretically two of the toughest defenses he's faced so far.

Id be willing to bet a lot of money this is the media trying to create a story becuase LF never gives them anything juicy they can use. He was asked earlier in the week if his parents had an insurance policy on him and he said he didnt know. He knows and that pisses the media off that hes smart enough to say nothing.

Of course leave it up to the retards here to believe a journalist who knows nothing and turn on one of the best players in LSU history. This is why they call y'all rantards fwiw.

This is a great point. ESPN is so keen to jump on the next sports icon. They're always looking for the next star to churn out material, and Leonard really thrust himself into that role by his performance against Auburn. It's as if they were foaming at the mouth to find that next ratings star and they got their transcendent character in LF. What do all those stars recently have in common, though? They have some juicy side story that ESPN can milk for all its worth.

Now I know this isn't ESPN but its the same principle and something we should be wary of going forward. If Leonard doesn't give them anything besides his play, they'll manufacture something. In fact, one could argue they've already started.

Certainly it is higher than anything we've had since Faulk, but if you look at the career rushing leaders in the NFL, the majority of them carried the ball a lot college. LaDainian Tomlinson for one.

Rushes only
Emmitt Smith - 25.9 his junior year
Dickerson - 22.1 his junior and senior years
Marshall Faulk - 22.1 for his career, 25.0 his junior year
Sanders - 31.2 his junior year

I agree that he isn't really built to be a primary RB for a top SEC program, but he is very good in the role the staff is using him in.

that is total horse shite. Williams is at least the equal of Derrick Henry who IS a Primary RB for a Top level SEC PROGRAM. Williams runs much harder than Henry, has better vision, and is just as fast. If Williams were at any other program in the SEC, other than Gerogia (prior to Chubb getting Hurt), he would be the starter.

It was also known that he wanted to win the Heisman. Les is doing about as good a job as possible in terms of balancing those two goals, right around 20 carries is ideal.

Yep. I actually thought he'd carry it around 18-19 times per game this year, but our offense and the games have dictated him carrying it more. Now that Guice has come along, Williams is good as a short yardage/relief back, and and the passing game has hopefully gotten on track, his carries should decrease to around a reasonable 19-20, but probably will be used heavily against Bama and Florida though.

As others are saying, next year we'll see even more Guice and Williams and by that time Les will have gotten over Brossette's fumble and he'll be in the mix

Yep. I've said before that Fournette, Guice, and Williams will be like McFadden, Jones, and Hillis next year.
