I'll be attending the opener and I've never been to a game at NRG stadium so I'm trying to see what my best bet is in terms of parking. Seems like the options are either the red lot or the green lot.

If I am coming in on 610 will I have any issue taking Kirby Drive to the green lot? I'm not sure about road closures.

If you are staying in Houston get a Hotel next to the Metro and just take that way cheaper than parking.

Typically they don't close roads for the games. They're used to having plenty of traffic in the area for game days, so you shouldn't have trouble reaching any of the lots.

Kirby is always open and busy 2 hours prior to kick off. We take uber to all bowl games and the Texan games. We will go about 1 to a tailgate and will have
no traffic.

The trip was made into a mini vacation by my wife and mom, so I'll be staying near the Galleria
