We got a nice haul and it's refreshing to see the ranks refilled

Out of this upcoming class - who do you see gets on the field?

DB CLASS

Projected CB - ATH Raydarious Jones

I could see Flott getting redshirted like Greedy did. They are very similar. If Hampton ever makes it to campus he could be a Safety. I think Ray Jones will see playing time as a Freshman. He’s incredible, and underrated as hell. Extremely fast.

Well considering we have Fulton, kelvin joseph, and KV coming back, along with stingley, playing time will be hard to come by.

I was curious of this

kelvin joseph

Do you think he gets pulled back over to Safety?

Coach O said he made the switch this past year because the depth chart called for it

If Hampton makes it into the class he’ll see the field somewhere. Look out for Christian Williams clip as well if LSU lands him he’ll see the field in the secondary. Very good cover again with good instincts, think he’s one of the most underrated players in this cycle.

Agreed. Just too much sheer speed and ability there not to try and use him. It'll be interesting to see what pans out between Hampton (if he's LSU), Emery, and Stingley as far as kick returner.

I can also see them using him at nickel just to get him some experience. He's got enough size for run support. In a way he's a CB-S tweener (I'm not saying LB-S tweener). From what I understand he's raw in the coverage skills/technique department though.

If it's anything like this season, by the end of the bowl game all of them should see the field...

We got some great talent, but we need a lot of DBs. We got one last year. ONE! We should sign five per year. So far we have three this year. That’s four in two years. A giant problem is looming if we don’t sign more this year.

Just isn't room man. Not if we fill needs in trenches (almost there) and RB (done deal!).

Right now it's tight just considering Hampton, Ward, and Williams.

If he works out as planned, I hope Joseph gets to see some reps at safety. While he can play corner, I think he would be special at free safety.
