Badara Traore was signed to fill this problem. O recognized the problem before the spring. But holy shite Traore is a waste of a scholarship, he is so bad. How did everyone have him so highly rated?

The Freeze and Dabo systems overcome those problems. What the hell are O and E thinking trying to run straight up vanilla against florida and sabambam!? You gotta shift and misdirect and spread 5 wide and QB in shotgun and RPO. What the frick are these clowns doing!? Where is the accountability? Do these bastards not have a boss? I thought the fans owned the business, the stakeholders.

Traore would be all world in the Freeze and Dabo systems.

yeah we did that last year pal

so do CUM and GUS

GUS is best when he has a nick marshall or a cam newton not a stidham. same with CUM with a tebow or cardale jones or a JT barrett

sure deshaun watson was great at clemson

Yep. Lot of speculation going on on this board. The people who are pushing these narratives don’t need or want evidence. They have their minds made up regardless.

Quick while you have all of the answers run up to the football operations building and tell them that you can fix all of their offensive problems. I'm sure that they'll hire you on the spot.

Coming from an all state tackle here (not bragging just saying ik this stuff). It's very easy to think a guy is good because you don't get to see him against elite talent or only in small windows. If you watched me play my regular season, you'd think I was a 5 star talent. But I got to the all state game and while I had good pass pro, I had trouble driving my guy off the ball. Same with the guy I played from chocktaw that played for clemson. Everyone else besides those two guys in my 4 years of hs got slammed in the dirt all night and never even pressured my qb once. It's hard to evaluate the position. That's why I've been saying for 3 years that we have a huge line issue, people argued w me that they didn't suck cuz they played fine until Bama ran them over. This year Florida and Bama both did miss state too. Idc if you can block juco defenses and LA techs lines. Can you block good 4 stars and 5 star talent? That's the only way to know.

After the spring game, everyone acted like our QB's were terrible and we had to go out and get a savior. I'm not knocking Burrow one bit. I think he's a great QB and I'm glad we have him. I'm just saying that we tried to fix a problem that may not have been the right problem. In the spring game, the QB's we had were running for their lives or under pressure the whole time.

Lacking in the TE position has hurt more than most realize

This is a misleading statement. In both those instances, they have a mobile QB that can escape pressure, and make accurate throws on the run. A dropback passer that cant escape against Bama defense is a sitting duck.

Johnny football, JT Barrett, Cam, Whoever the Ole miss QB was.

You run those systems with JB and you still lose. He is not the guy that can extend the play and make plays on the run.

people forget that freeze had some great talent on the oline. remember he got the top left tackle.

and you think dabo doesn't have some olinemen?

look at florida state? no oline.

Our tackles are really bad. Borrow needs to receive the purple heart for his courage to stand back there and take that beating!

This would be true of any topic on this board. This is true of America, of which TR is one small but vocal microcosm.

the knuckleheads need to listen to this guy. our line isn't that bad when compared to 90% of the country. it's against the elite where we look real bad because we have no all-americans or all-sec caliber linemen. sprinkle in a few, get closer to talent and then talk about scheme.

les miles had us close to talent for a long time and wouldn't scheme. we haven't been there for years. our guys are not trash, and we need to keep things in perspective, but we don't have enough to compete at the elite level. not yet.

O is trying really, really hard to get some of these guys. if you watched the game, you should realize that we are 3 or 4 players on the lines away from competing for championships.

Well if Ed Ingram can make parole it would help.
