It could be really good. but slow down a little on the best in football. they have the potential to be elite.

Let's wait until we see who declares. Both Clapp and Weatherby could, if they wanted.

If Jeff Grimes is still the coach, I'll have to pass.

Still have a whole off-season to go. Could still be some transfers, juniors who declared, injuries, and suspension,

I'm certainly more of a "pumper" than anything. With that said, why on Earth would they leave early?

Call me pessimistic, but I'd rather not count people on the 2018 roster until we know they actually will be.

Weathersby, despite his health issues, is one of the top rated tackles in college football. He also supposedly has folks he needs to take care of. I wouldn't count on him being back.

Clapp is in a better situation, but keep in mind he's graduating after the season. His NFL stock should be very good as well being one of the higher rated interior linemen who has played both guard and center well.

It's crazy how many people don't realize both of the guys will be on draft boards in 2018. LSU will be very fortunate if both return.

Why are people still salty with Grimes? Since he’s been free to play a lineup besides 5 guards his unit has played well, except for youthful mistakes that are to be expected, again because you’re changing the philosophy. He has a true freshman at LT that he recruited that likely would be on the bench under Miles, but is playing like a man.

If Clapp and Weathersby stay, then they have a chance to be special for sure.
