- Dive Right (loss of 1)
- Dive Left (gain of 1)
- Hail Mary
- Punt
One receiver routes out of a "jumbo" package is not a system that succeeds anywhere currently. For some reason that system has been deemed "LSU's Identity". Great, we have a failing identity and the head coach isn't interested in making extreme changes. The answer has to be promoting a previously failed OC and finding a QB. Sorry, but no great QB is going to come to the QB graveyard that is LSU Football.

He didn't beat out Etling because Coach O didn't want to ruin him as a QB and throw him out there too early and he knew the only thing Danny does better than any of our Qb's at this point is protect the ball

Holy shite this!!! And its not like this is just an O thing.....Miles was just as bad about letting QBs rot on the bench in mop up time.....well except with JJ.

By the way.
Danny Etling had 16 td passes and 2 int., with a qb rating of 153. He ended up the 6th rated QB in the SEC and Hurts was 9.
All the blame on the QB is just stupid when you look at the actual statistics.
