104.5 Jimmy Ott noted that having 5 star players all embracing the team concept is not a given, but this LSU basketball team embraces it, that’s what is most impressive besides their talent.

I agree. Body language is great on this team.

They seem to all really encourage each other, even when on the bench. It's great to see.

Not what I saw last night. I saw some finger pointing and yelling last night from Williams, Reid and Days. Hopefully they will come together by January because right now they are not there as a unit. This might be a sweet 16 team right now but if they form that unit the final 4 is definitely possible.

For the first time in years, I actually agree with something Ott says. I’m not proud about it.

I think it’s way too early to say this. There was plenty of hero ball last night and throughout the first 3 games

Agreed. There's a reason Naz Reid didn't play many of the valuable minutes at the end. And I'm sure Will Wade will straighten things out. This is almost a completely new team besides Threemont, Skylar, and Edwards. It takes time to develop team chemistry and identity

Oh he’s just mad LSU basketball runs a semblance of an offense and the football team couldn’t conjure one with a wizard and a hooker.

That reason is an ankle injury... Naz almost didnt play against Memphis because he was hurt and didnt practice. Naz said no way I am missing this game.

Yeah it was because he had 4 fouls with like 15 minutes in the 2nd half

TIger fan posters criticizing players when they never even watched the game! Call them Tiger fan imposters. If you watched the effing game, you’d know Naz got in foul trouble.

Thanks for educating these pricks.

I've been to all three games, and agree there is a lotta Iso going on, though totally via a team effort attitude, especially TW being more a facilitator to date and then attacking when seeing his team threatened, pressed, or needing a hoop.

I love WW and this team's huge upside, but they are young and green, they have plenty of room and film for WW and staff to coach them up just off the last two games. Better halfcourt sets, better ball rotation, fast break distribution and spacing, assignments, guarding the arc, attacking the press sans TW splitting double teams or Javonte walking it up, etc..

Memphis top returning scorers and experienced players had slightly off nights, and yet arguably played a slightly better game than LSU in regards to team unit basketball. LSU size and talent and depth edges won out, as with UNCG. Nice offensive glass edge last night. Smart and Mays and Bigby-Williams(his finishing skills close to the basket are better than I expected) were great.

WW will have the Tigs greatly improved by SEC play on both ends of the floor. There is now a wealth of talent at hand, and they will find a proper marriage for all of it. The sky is the limit. Fans need to show up and support this great young fun team!

BS! The reason was, Reid picked up his third and then fourth foul.
I think he pulled the starters at one time because they weren't playing team ball just to give them a minute to think about it.

I think just about every one of our issues can and will improve as the team plays together more and Wade continues to do what he does. There's no question we play hard, which is what I really want to see at this early stage. I love how we crash the boards, even if our rebounding stats haven't been outstanding to date.
