If kids being recruited can be found to have tried to entice schools into paying for their services, there should be some sanctions placed on the kids. The NCAA holds schools to a higher standard when it comes to rules like this. We should begin to hold these kids and their family accountable. If it can be found that they tried to extort money from a school for the kids signature, the kid should be banned from competing or signing with any NCAA sanctions school for 2 years. If you want to clean up the recruiting aspect of the sport, the punishments need to go both ways.
