I bet some no show jobs were part of the deal.

If they've done a good job, I would think so. But probably nah just to make a clean break.

There was no “deal”.
Orgeron got paid all of his money.

So LSU owes him nothing beyond that.

His son’s will be coaching at Archbishop Hannan next year.

No. One is in charge of getting beer, the other getting the ice chests ready for each day on the new boat.

WTF? Of course they won't be back. Implying they might have done a good job and "think so" when talking job retention is moronic. They're history lickity split. Buh Bye like gone be gone gone. Geez...

I believe you’re joking and it’s easy to pile on but Tyler was on staff before O. Parker, as with Tyler, has a future in coaching world.
Not saying they will be coaching savants, but wise beyond their years. My bet Parker will be on McNeese’s staff.

I'd make a bet with someone on here that Tyler will still be here next year. Dude has been here for almost 10 years, longer than O.

Does anyone even know what his relationship is like with Ed? Reminder that he is Kelly's son & O's adopted son.

Amen. Miles has been gone for quite a while, but there are still posts bitching about Miles.

I hope (but am likely wrong) that we are not in for 4-5 years of bitching about Orgeron posts.

I think the one who’s been here the least is an analyst, not sure if he is paid 50k a year .

Analyst just make up the scouting reports by watching tape on an opponent and document how many times they run a certain play out of a certain formation. Stuff like that.

It’s not like they weren’t qualified to do the job, anybody on this board would be qualified. Hell we used to have random players do it in high school. It’s not a big deal at all that he hired them to be analyst.

Not all of them do the same thing either

If you look at the agreement, his payments are split up between him personally and a couple of LLCs. I'm sure his sons are taken care of.

I have 0 idea if they’ve done a good job.
You have 0 idea if they’ve done a good job.
I implied Nothing.
What IS moronic is your lack of reading comprehension skills.
I made one statement suggesting that merit should control the decision. I made another statement that despite merit, a clean break may still be better.

Remove head from arse.

The point is, they were only hired for one reason. As someone alluded, there is likely not much to their "job." shite like hiring his kids is why O is being shown the door. If they can competently do what they were doing here, they can find other work, and our new coach should be able to easily find someone to replace them. There shouldn't be any need to hang onto vestiges of this bullshite just because they might be basically competent at whatever they were doing.
