Why? Even if LSU fires him after this upcoming season he's still going to get a few million to go along with the $7 mill he had already earned. He also wouldn't be getting a HC job anywhere else, so why not enjoy retirement in U-Club?

Alleva offered on a house there too, but when the seller tried to negotiate he moved into a Tigerland apartment instead.
Such a funny guy.
Of course, Alleva is pretty well compensated and has a secure financial future so the joke is on you.

I'm not impressed for $900,000. Atleast it's got wheels.

Yeah, I mean anyone making 200k a year could pretty easily qualify for a mortgage on this house.
I wouldn't advise it at that salary level but you're definitely right
In places in California you really dont have much a choice. At $200k you're taking home maybe $10k-$11k a month, mortgage on a $900k home is like $4300 a month. Not hard to manage.

Right
I'm just saying I wouldn't spend that much in a gulf state market on 200K a year
Mainly because you wouldn't need to and could use the money for other things like travel, investment, retirement.

Look how angry you people are....
it's hilarious someone buying a home makes you so angry.

All to each their own.
Some people value their home a lot and put more money there than travel and other things.
I know a guy who lives in a 6000-sqft place by himself that was maybe about $800k and makes about $150k/yr. CEO of my company on the other hand makes probably 4x that and still lives in a place he bought 15 years ago for like $300k.
As long as you can manage, to each their own on how much you're willing to spend on a home.

900,000 is average for the nicer neighborhoods in BR. I don't see why this is such a big deal.

Exactly. That’s well within his current means.
Oh definitely. He could've easily bought that house at his DLine salary. But then again, 900k buys a damn nice house in LA.

In the Pic that they used for the article, it shows Coach O and his wife listening as he is announced as LSU's new head coach. The look on his wife's face is priceless! You can clearly see that even she is shocked and can't believe that LSU would hire her husband as the head football coach!

No he’s not going to be here for a long long long time dipshit space cadet so stop saying it. Saying it won’t make it come to fruition. How much is ponamsky paying you to post here???

It's not a big deal. Good for Orgeron. I don't think he is the answer at HC long term, but I don't wish the man ill. That's a nice house and very affordable on his income, even under his worst-case scenario.
