Orgeron should close practice
All these reports of who didn’t practice leads to unnecessary chatter and speculation. Just my opinion.

It is literally the only thing reported each day. It’s awful.

But then what would we melt down about every day?

re: Orgeron should close practice
I think the staff and team probably find it amusing that everyone is overthinking it. While a few of the guys sitting out really may have some things nagging them, the large majority are just being advised to take it easy in the spirit of load management. This also gives alot of guys opportunities to get reps, and with different personnel groups. If these holdouts continue into the GA Southern week, I think we have to really be concerned. Going into GA Southern, we have to be a full go or we'll never be ready for Texas. We may even see some holdouts early in the Texas week.

Highly unlikely dude. It’s straight up noise and no coach likes that

Ah, the paranoia route. That'll work.

re: Orgeron should close practice
I just started posting on this website this year. But I have read it for since 2007. I think since I am older now it dosent bother me much, but I can care less what the media reports, what O says, what Aranda says, what a player says, who gets suspended, who transfers, who gets injured. Because at the end of the day, come September, the ball will be teed up and some tigahs will be getting after it. If you’re getting your panties in a bunch about the media harping on “injuries” find a hobby.

Because most people don’t know what the frick they’re taking about when watching football. I know I wouldn’t know what the hell im watching. Now imagine a guy who never played football past high school, and probably not at a very high level HS, telling you the inner workings of O Line, D Line, LB, and QB play.

And it’s the only thing reported because I imagine they only allow media in for the first 20-30 minutes and then show them to the holding tank. They aren’t going to be allowed to watch once they begin install for GA Southern and Texas. There will be mass hysteria if/when media isn’t allowed at practice as if it’s some huge secret the team is hiding.

I understand they only have 20 minutes. But be creative. Report on what you see other than just taking roll.

Half agree.

Not because of injuries, but because anyone who is allowed in seems to go to Twitter and tell the internet what they saw. I’d rather our new offense be a total secret.

ah yes, the secret playbook/secret offense. Just run the damn offense from day 1 and get it perfected.

You think Clemson, Oklahoma, Bama, Ohio State etc. worry about keeping their offense a secret? No, they come out and blow doors from the first play. As long as the play calling is unpredictable, it doesn't matter if an opponent has your entire playbook - they still won't know what's coming and when.

Perfect the offense in game situations, and stop with the paranoia about showing too much.
