Is there any possibility that LSU could be selected as an at-large team to play Florida State in the Orange Bowl?

Not really. The Big East Champ has to be selected by a BCS bowl and the Orange Bowl picks last, so unless someome takes Louisville before the OB picks, they are stuck with the BE champ again.

If you are on the Orange Bowl Committee, the Playoffs can't get here fast enough.

I believe the Orange picks last among the bowls and will be stuck with the Big East champion. It may be time for the BCS to rethink the Big East getting an automatic bid.

I'd love for LSU to play in the OB regardless of opponent. Better than another CFA or CapOne.

What if Riggers is not in BCS top 16? Doesn't OB get to pick a replacement?

No chance for any SEC team to make the Orange Bowl. They pick last. Two SEC teams will have already been taken by the time the Orange is up.

Was there too with a god forsaken toothache, but my thanks geauxs to Mr. Jack Daniels for saving the night! Close game to the end, lost by 2 or 3 points.

It's unfortunate the old Orange Bowl Stadium was torn down (now Marlins Stadium) and the games are now played in Sun Life Stadium out NW Miami, just a short 40 minute cab ride from South Beach
