when the culture based on getting to the next level, we should expect more individual decisions rather than sacrifice for the team

NFLSU is a double edged sword

show me a college football program as plagued as this one with opt-outs

I blame O and his toxic culture in this context more than NFLSU.

Slow your roll. No one has opted out yet.

It’s not an opt out. He’s finally having the labrum surgery that’s been nagging him since last season. Gotta give it to the kid for trying to play through it even though his head coach is remedial af

It's o. This team absolutely doesn't want to play for him. Ricks isn't opting out but he chose surgery during the season rather than wait. That's absolutely telling

Ricks is getting himself ready to play under a real coach. No harm there, get healthy, kill it next year under someone who isn’t a moron

Special Ed has ruined LSU's tough guy culture.

The culture he has instilled is rotten.

How many opt outs have we had this year? Players opted out last year. I don't recall any this year. Don't mention any players that had or are having surgery.

I've always hated that moniker. You can say that it helps with recruiting etc etc. but in the age of NIL...frick that...you can recruit without it. Any SEC program will get you to the NFL if you got it....but I'm tired of players using us as a stepping stone and us pumping our chests about it.

Blame O all you want, But the NFLSU thing has been biting us...and other schools in the arse for some time. A large contingent of our players were leaving after year 3. Now with opt outs getting popular and the stupidity of the transfer portal you have maybe 2 years with a player.

Guess who does not have that problem....Alabama. Saban said it himself. Lots of players want to come, few look to leave or transfer out. These two policies are going to frick collegiate football....as this board cheers it on.

The fact that we had to come up with another word for quitting tell you everything you need to know.

He's transferring to someone else. Last year he was being tampered with by Ohio State. Sage is transferring to Bama. With the way NIL works currently and transfer portal rules, expect the roster to be decimated when they fire Orgeron. It will be a full rebuild job as teams are already tampering unless LSU is willing to pony up big NIL bucks to stabilize the team.

So he can transfer back home after USC spot is filled.
