You sound like you're one of those LSU fans that try to handle losing a baseball game by screaming for the coach to be fired, not that you aren't entitled to a knee-jerk reaction. Still, you'd think LSU fans, of all people, would know early season baseball is not necessarily an indicator of how the team will play in May and June.
Speaking of Skip, in the 2000 season, Skip's last NC year, LSU got swept at home by Houston in the third week of the season. The fans of "today", at that time, were calling for Skip to retire because the game had passed him by.

Even if I lived in bumfrick Baton Rouge, where there is literally nothing to do other than LSU athletics, I would STILL scrape and claw to find something better to do on a Friday night than attend an LSU vs. Toledo baseball game. This post was edited on 3/3/18 at 10:48 am
