I know there are a few older threads over this but it didn't quite have the information that I needed. I just thought since we are under 50 days and approaching the big game, we could just make this the official tailgating thread for TCU especially for those of us who could not make it to the Oregon/A&M games and for those unfamiliar with Jerry World.

First question: where are the best tailgating areas, when do the lots open up?

Everything around the stadium is basically a massive parking lot. If its like the Oregon game, it won't be hard to find tailgates

Nice. I knew there would be plenty of possibilities. I believe me and about 20 fellow tiger fans will be traveling from Dallas via party bus so it could get crazy lol what time do they open the lots?

Buy a lot 14 pass, it's an rv/car lot so it is always open. They are on sale through ticketmaster.

Much better tailgating at the bars close to the stadium. Eat and drink all day, then jump on a shuttle. Return after the game and drink more.

Terrible advice, this isn't a Cowboys game

For the Oregon game, I had a parking pass in lot 4. There was lots of tailgating there. I suggest showing up early and grabbing one of the spots along the edge of the lot by the grass.

If you got your parking pass through LSU it's in either Lot 4 or 10.

We got 1

Sounds good to me, what time did that lot open? I've heard stories that Cowboy Stadium lots don't open until later which would be BS

Texas Rangers playing next door at 7:05 pm this year, could make parking more difficult this year. Rangers were out of town for Oregon game.
