The chicken & the egg--are we having a bad day, so the officiating is bad?
Or, is the officiating so bad it causes us to shoot poorly, etc?
I go with the second. It benefits the SEC too much for State to go to the final. The first foul on LSU was called practically before the game started. Varnado walked from Starkville to Tampa. This would be why I watch as little men's basketball as possible.

This loss is in no way attributed to refs. This was a piss poor shooting performance today. Some days the shots are there and others not....but they need to move without the ball a whole much better if they intend on moving in the Tourney. They have no inside presence offensively and if the gaurds don't get better looks and separation, we will see another loss. They need to rememeber how they played in January and they will be just fine.

I hate to say it, but we will be lucky to win one game. Our offense has been pretty terrible lately. We need to get our shot back fast.

At least we have another day to play. Let's hope the NCAA gets together and bans the SEC officils from calling any tourny games. They will screw somebody. We may not have won this game anyhow but it sure would have been closer.

All of you whining about the officiating were probably the type kids that took the ball and went home after getting outplayed on the court/field.
The Tigers played bad. They've not played well in a number of games now, losing three of four.
The officials didn't decide this game. MSU outplayed the Tigers and & Stansbury outcoached Trent.
