Offense still producing. Defense still struggling. What changes are you seeing?

First, we need to be honest with ourselves. South Carolina is probably the second worst team in the SEC. Muschamp is a lame duck coach, and everyone knows it.

The O-Line/Running Game looked much improved last night.

The offensive game plan looked much improved. We were much more balanced and put our talent in positions to succeed. I suspect that Ensminger is the sole play caller last night and moving forward.

The defense is still a mess. Linebackers playing undisciplined and not shedding blocks. DBs getting roasted in man coverage.

We are looking at a lot of shootouts the rest of this season.

I think the only thing the defense can do is play hyper aggressive and go for sacks and turnovers, while hoping the offense can keep the pedal to the metal.

The defense showed some flashes. The pass rush was getting home but we seem to struggle with containing on run plays. Just too many chunk yardage plays.

Too much reading not enough reacting, at least nowhere near quick enough. They play slow.

Yea its the big plays where we’re susceptible

Safeties have really struggled. Bama could probably throw it deep and score every play

There was a noticeable improvement when Baskerville came in. I didn’t think he was great, but significantly better than Clark.

USC is better then you are giving them credit. I think their coaching staff shite themselves last night. Their best player ran for 10 ypc and only touched the ball 12 times. If lsu did that this board would crash.

I was at the game and I saw Clark going in and out of the game rather than an every down player. Dont know if that was a change or not though.

One play that irked the shite out of me was a pass to USCs deep left. The receiver was coming across the middle and Harris picked him up but never closed the gap on him which was at least 6 yds. Result was an easy completion for 15-20 yds. I should point out that Harris was deeper than the receiver and made the tackle but it just looked like real soft coverage that was just conceding the catch

I still notice defenders happily running into blockers and not being able to disengage, instead of trying to run to the ball. Watching plays 3 or 4 times in a row, it almost looks like a video game, and our guys are programmed to just lock up with the opposing team's blockers.

Defense is slow and undisciplined. I fully blame Pelini. People on here still are defending Pelini
