maybe even tuesday if they have to.

The game will be cancelled before this happens. This isn't basketball where you just pick up and play another game four days later.

You can't blow an open date on a north Texas.

We don't have common open dates anyway. Either the game gets played sometime on Labor Day weekend or it doesn't get played at all.

Both LSU and North Texas have 12 games scheduled so they can cancel and still meet the minimum games needed. I can't see LSU wanting to give up bye weekend for Bama or switching any other games.

It needs to be Sunday, or canceled outright. NT's open date doesn't line up with ours, so the game isn't going to be moved. If we play on Monday and end up losing to UW, the season is over before it really starts. They are too poor of a team to lose to with this year's weaker schedule, and be able to stay in the title picture.

I can guarantee the game won't be cancelled outright....it will be Sunday or Monday.

(of course Saturday is not completely ruled out just yet)

I think they make a call no later than Thursday afternoon.

I think people are going to be surprised at how strong this storm is going to be

I think they will do everything they can to get the game played by Monday, but if they can't they will think outside of the box. The teams did not have common open dates in 2005 either and the game still happened.

I guess they could play in December, but that would suck to be heading to the title game or another major bowl and have to risk injuries vs the Mean Green.

Trees are falling all over BR right now and around campus.

BR was on the west side of Gustav

BR will be on the east side of Isaac

It's likely there will be a double header with the UW game the following weekend.

Seriously, like 20:1.

Obviously I hope that the game will go on as scheduled. But IF they do postpone it, do they refund tickets for people who will no longer be able to come?

My parents bought tickets online when they were running that special, but they won't be able to make it if it isn't played this weekend since they're flying in for it. Anybody know?
