OMG, I just read the rest of your post suggesting we should ask 20 year old kids who they think we should hire.

If they really wanted to play for a certain guy out of the candidates, I’d take it into consideration.

Even if it’s Vitello which, look at my post history, would be a tough pill to swallow.

I don't see why who the new coach is would have any impact on if he comes back

He not coming back. Don't need him, did a horrible job in the supers when his team needed him the most.

Please tell me this is (bad) bait. He was on short rest after a heroic effort in Eugene and was still pretty effective. Probably had a couple of more good innings in him but CPM wasn’t going to take chances.

Every guy with eligibility should hear out the new coach before making the decision. Which is why they better get him hired quickly because I want him in their ears before they get drafted.
No. you never rush a hire based on any players

Also zero chance be or Hill come back.

Hell if I we’re Woodward I might even ask his opinion along with Hill, Labas, and Dugas.
You would ask 4 teenagers to give their thoughts on who should be the new head coach.

How do you think these these 4 kids will know who's the right candidate?

It’s dumb to say you would make a quick hire in a major sport for any players, it’s downright moronic to say you’d ask them to chose the coach.

This comment is without basis. Marceaux was one of the main reasons we were in a super regional to begin with.

I would love to see Landon in P&G next year; to play on a great team and get the credit he deserves. I get it, not likely. But someday, someone else is gonna pull a Kevin Faulk.

he was just named all American and PM retired

He’s not coming back but not like those two things have anything to do with it.

I don’t think he’s one of the main reasons we made it out of the regional. He really only looked good for an inning or so against Oregon. His start against Georgia wasn’t great either. He was responsible for some necessary wins during the regular season, but I think his greatness as a college baseball player is often overstated. Maybe he’ll be a better pro, I don’t know. I never attempt to judge MLB prospects. Regardless, I hope we have a better Friday night/go-to starter.

we won’t. Marceaux was a stud his whole career and will be picked in the first round. You’re gonna really hate our next Friday starter if you thought marceaux was bad

Junior pitcher?

Marceaux would have two years of eligibility remaining if he returned

But he’s going to go in the top 200 picks and should go play pro baseball.

Those are obvious but I think the biggest factor in draft likely Juniors coming back in Baseball is if they think they will have a better season than they just had. It’s a risk though. They lose the threat of returning and could end up injured…career over.

What does this have to do with anything? You think if PM stuck around he’d consider staying?
