O getting all over them at practice. Not happy with the defense and not letting off.

Everyday Coach O proves he's worthy of being LSU's coach. So proud. The LSU defense will soon be too.

Unfortunately we'll have to wait a month or so to see if any changes come out of that Texas game. Defense looked flat out dominant against Georgia Southern and clueless against Texas.

I imagine they'll look really strong against the likes of Northwestern, Vandy and Utah State but it won't be till Florida that we'll get a real test again.

Was he cursing at the guy responsible for keeping our guys hydrated?

I got some news ...with this type of offense...our defense is gonna be on the field for ALOT more plays than before.

Yup. That's what you call a football coach!

Get in their damn grill when they need it! They'll thank him for it later on in life.

I told y’all the defense would get an ear full. They won’t make the mistake of getting overconfident again.

Honestly, this might have been the best case scenario for LSU. Defense gets their “we can stop anyone anytime without really trying” attitude out of the way before the Bama game and we still came out with a win.

I watched a ton of player interviews after the game. To a man, each of the defensive guys admitted to taking Texas too lightly. I’m pretty sure they knew this was coming today. That’s a good thing in my eyes. I know when I played, I never slacked and I fully expected the coaches to ride the asses of the ones who did.

Yes, I am truly miserable, seeing some of LSU's top defensive players taunt Texas all week, then proceed to get roasted on national tv by Texas' QB, when they should have had their minds totally focused on practice. All of those pass attempts by Texas and not one damn turnover. Yes, I found Coach O's taunting of them amusing.

I'm happy to see this, but some people on here seem to have forgotten how good Texas is, Ehlinger is, Herman is, and that the game was played in Austin. Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State have all had games with defensive outcomes like this. To be worried about our defense long term because of one game under the same circumstances is silly.

Actually, if you get 3 and outs on D and don't go 3 and out on offense it works out pretty well.

I thought one of our biggest issues was we didn't rally to the ball worth a shite even in the first quarter. That's effort. Looks like O is aiming to fix the effort issue.
