Truth is, we could've lost to Bama and still gone to playoffs. We can probably lose to UGA and go to playoffs. A lose in the next 3 games would certainly damage or chances to go to the playoffs significantly, if not altogether.

Here's what I believe we are about to see...I believe we will see an LSU team that has taken the next step in building a "Championship" mentality. I think we will win the next 3 in convincing fashion and I also believe we beat UGA in the SECCG.

CEO has done something that is very vital in all this...he's made them believe they are the best team in the country and they have a QB that exudes a calm confidence that is infectious. I would wager to say that we have answered more scores with scores this year than any other team in LSU history. That's a sign of the "Championship" confidence this team has!

No it wouldn't. LSU most likely can lose one of its next four and still make the playoffs. Actually the worst one to lose of them all would be the Georgia game, because it all but guarantees UGA takes a playoff spot (unless they lose to Auburn).

I’m really tired of all of this lose talk. Just freakin win and play the way we have been snd nothing Else matters. shite, let the gumps get back in and we can beat them to leave no doubt. Let everyone else worry about the What ifs and who’s got to do what. We are in the drivers seat and champions don’t need excuses or Ls. Just beat ole piss and that’s all we need to worry about

We would take Bama's spot if we lost to UGA. There will be 2 SEC teams in. I disagree with your other point. If we lose to Ole Miss or A&M ( I won't even mention losing to Arky), That would give us the worst loss of all the 1-loss teams currently. Still a lot to play out but my main point was I think we are going to handle this on the field.

the way I look at it is we're OK losing one of the next three games. we still win the west and play in the SECCG. winning that game will guarantee us a spot in the playoffs by virtue of winning the SEC

It's not Bama's spot to lose. And it's very possible to make it, with one loss to UGA but we would be directly responsible for giving Georgia a playoff birth. There are only a few of those things to hand out.

Do you watch college football? Georgia lost to South Carolina. Bama lost to LSU. UGA is ranked ahead of Bama. That sends the message that big victories mean a hell of a lot more than who you lost to. LSU has the big victory part already taken care of.

We have won every single game we have played till now. So this team is perfect. We stepped out on that field that way tonight. And, uh, if it's all the same to you, Coach O, that's how we want to leave it.

If our only loss is to UGA and its competitive, we're in still. As long as we win our next three, we're all pretty much guaranteed a spot.

Win out, or sit out.

Same thing for Bama (but too late now for Bama this year). The CFP nearly imploded the last time one conference put two teams in.

CFP Administration, LLC will lose their franchise if they ever allow that shite again.

It’s the first season in many years I don’t have the feeling of, “well that game is over”, when the other team scores.
I know This offense will move the ball down the field. It’s a great feeling.

The next 3 teams will tell you a lot about this team and a lot about this program. In the Miles era these would have been big time "trap" games, I would be expecting huge let downs if Miles was still here.

Ed Orgeron and this program has a confidence and a focus in them that tells me they will not let distractions get to them.

Truth! The Bama and Texas games felt like they were slipping away, except our offense kept punching back.

1. That isn't Bama's spot
2. Not necessarily. It depends on what happens in the Pac-10/Big-12

LSU needs to win out to control its own destiny. I don't want the committee having to pick between 12-1 LSU & 12-1 Oregon as the Pac-10 champ or 12-1 Oklahoma as the Big-12 champ.
