You hate to say it, but this looks like a game from last season. There is no people and/or ball movement on offense and the defense is just perpetually out of position...in the event they play hard.
The bench is out of it as well. You (Wade) can't preach incredible energy and not bring it every night. I know ND is killing LSU, but his demeanor tonight is night and day from last night

Notre Dame is much better than Michigan, that's for sure. Tonight's game looks like shades of Johnny Jones bball. Not pretty.

Mays and Epps combined 2-13. Ouch.

LSU will be that team in a few years...hang in there...it’s just the start of a dynasty here @ LSU with Will Wade.....ND’s not ranked 13th in the country for nothing....

I was hoping for LSU to be more competitive. I was saying how much different the team looked last night when compared to a Jones coached team. Man, was I wrong. I guess we have to give Wade at least 2 or 3 seasons to get a read on things when his recruits are in place.

It’s still nice to know the team won’t quit under Wade
Seriously
But they literally could not have shot any better and we couldn't have played any worse.
Down 16 but it feels like it should be 30

Waters is going to have games like this, and when he does we'll have basically no chance to win against good teams.
We're gonna go as he goes. Reath is a fine player and he can get his own shot in the post, but it's a bit different when you have a guy who can score on his own from the perimeter, or penetrate an cause havoc in the paint.

Well it only took 3.5 games.

My downvote stalker is a bandwagon bitch. He didn't watch the game last night.

It’s deflating every time they nail a 3. Their tallest guy is like 6-6, we should man up and take away the open look 3s and make our inside defenders have to step up.

Ignore that a-hole. We're losing to a very good team. Rome wasn't built in a day. Wade has our guys ahead of schedule, and I still believe we can win 20 games this season.

If Sampson didn't get injured we'd be in this game.

I can’t believe people can get so negative so quick. fricking rant, lol . This team continues to play hard and try to move the ball on offense. Well guess what.. we are playing a ranked team with a senior PG who is gonna control the game with against us who is still highly inexperienced. We can’t expext last night every night. Get off Wades arse people

Yeah, that was rough. Waters obviously cooled a bit, don’t think it’s indacative of his future.... just playing a solid team.
Notre Dame’s 3pt percentage was nasty, and honestly we contested them about as well as we could.

This team is 3.5 games in to a season with a new coach and coming off a terrible season last year. Perhaps we give them some time to grow before people start nitpicking the coach and effort or energy. I for one am pleasantly surprised at how well they played last night and simply hope they make it entertaining second half.

I’m disappointed in the lack of fundamentals compared to the other 3 games we’ve played. Fundamental basketball would have us down by 8 or less at the half rather than 16...even with sampson’s Injury and the shots not falling.
Posted on 11/21/17 at 10:26 pm to jwall3
Waters hasn't scored yet. He's going to get his. So LSU has a shot.
