You can’t throw straight fastball only to college level hitters. Not a smart move by Mainieri.

Too many of these LSU pitchers have no movement on their pitches... agree, straight fastballs and the harder, the easier it is for hitters to hit! Need some junk pitchers to keep batters off balance, but don't have but a couple on this roster.
