There appears to be no coaching at LSU currently. Yes, LSU has a lot of injuries but so did Ole Miss. One coach appeared to adjust the gameday scheme to account for injuries on his team and on his opponents team. One coach didn't.

Ole Miss was without 2 of their Top 3 WRs, they had a DB playing WR, and their QB was banged up. Because of this, Ole Miss leaned on a run heavy scheme that didn't involve the QB as much as past games.

This news was out there for anyone that paid attention and yet the LSU Def seemed totally unprepared for what Ole Miss did in the game.

Do I need to even comment more on LSU? Or how the offense seemed totally lost when Ole Miss stopped the one running play that worked against UF?

LSU has some talent and it is not being developed under CEO. Surely there is someone on staff that can step into an interim role today and start working on a positive culture change to set the stage for the new coach?

This is ridiculous!

I agree with you, but there is literally no one to run the team. I don’t trust either coordinator… maybe our special teams coach? That’s about the only thing this team does right is special teams

LSU defense played well in the first half yesterday, but the offense stalled and only put up 7 points when they should have had 21.

In the 2nd half the offense went 3 and out on nearly every drive or fumbled the ball giving up huge field positions. That will make any defense look bad.

You jest, but the man should not be anywhere near the program at this point. I even thought, "hey, maybe without the pressure of trying to save his job, he'll let the coordinators dial up some fun stuff, and the team will come out relaxed and play hard" but that was a crazy thought

Does this mean you don’t trust Woodward?

I don't know Woodward from the man on the moon, so I don't have to account for my trust in him when posting on the Rant.

I trust Woodward to make the proper hire, but I think he made a mistake by keeping the cancer that is O around the program for the rest of the year.

O is eroding the program and it’s only gonna be worse every week the scumbag is coaching at LSU.

They’re letting Orgeron hang himself. It’s pretty clear nobody’s gonna want him after seeing this display.

Is Hal Hunter available? Best interim coach in LSU football history.

The defense started off well, but so did the offense. The offense started off with a 90-yard TD drive and followed it up with a 14-play drive. They should have had at least a 10-point lead early, but blew it on the 4th down call.

Still, they dominated time of possession in the 1st half, but the defense collapsed in the 2nd quarter just like the offense did after the first few drives.

No one is running it now! He needs to do the right thing and just step down.

LSU offense had 2 good drives. And time of possession is meaningless without points. You can't score 7 points in a half and expect to win.

LSU offense started the 2nd half with two 3 and outs and 2 fumbles. That would kill any team.

It's not meaningless. You give your D a lot of time to rest (which is very important with a fast-tempo offense like Ole Miss) and you keep the best part of their team on the sideline. But the D gave up a 9-play, 80-yard TD drive in just two minutes to close out the half and give them a 17-7 lead anyway, so in that sense, it was meaningless considering what took place.

But yes, the offense sucked after the first two drives when Ole Miss made adjustments. They didn't help anything after that.

If you trust Woody to make the hire for the long term, you have to trust him to make the hire in the interim.

Do you REALLY think he didn’t think through all the ramifications of keeping O on through November? Or do you Hs think he evaluated all the options and decided that even though this was a s**ty hand, it was the best hand he could play given the other options available?

I predict O won't coach the entire season.Posted on 10/18/21 at 10:35 am

Got a bunch of downvotes. Every game forward will prove me right.

I don’t understand this “nobody to run the team” bullshite.

Scott offers Raymond a 200K bonus to serve as interim the rest of the season, he is not going to turn it down.
