Aranda unleashes his arsenal

Devin White will cement himself as the greatest LB in LSU history.

Jacob Phillips is going to take a huge step forward and be the perfect compliment to Devins agreesiveness

Regardless on what you think about O, he’s the best Dline coach in the country.

Rashards violent hands and Fehokos strength is going to be an absolute nightmare for anyone who gets to block them

Klavon Chaisson is gonna have double digit sacks.

Divinity is the breakout player on D that no one is talking about 50+ tackles and 5+ sacks

Delpit takes the next step and becomes the best S in the SEC

Battle will be solid but Jacoby is going to push him.

Jacoby, Monroe, Paris and Todd Harris will all rotate in, in exotic packages

Kary Vincent/Kelvin Joseph will start at the slot and they’ll be better than 99% of the CB-2’s in the country

Greedy and Fulton will combine to be the best CB duo in the country. If you tell me to pump my brakes- name a better one.

They won’t be a top 5 Defense, They’ll be the #1 Defense in the county

Quite possible

And Aranda to coach all of those guys just makes me feel more confident they're going to wreck shite this year

Yeah. It’s gonna be one of those weird experiences where you look forward to having your defense go back on the field for thiose “omg” moments

If they can be a turnover creating machine this team could be very dangerous

If one of those interior guys can become a Dorsey, this could end up the best LSU D ever.

turnover creating machine

The only thing that's been underwhelming about the defense the past 2 years.

With a relentless pass rush that involves a bunch of crazy lucks from Aranda, I hope to see that change.

They would have to go to the Natty to unseat ‘11

I’ve posted a ton of positive stuff. I’ve just also called out O a shite load.

I will never, ever go into a season and not desperately hope LSU wins the whole fricking thing.

Well if they’re number one then they are a top 5 D fwiw

Fulton still has much to prove before he’s launched into the stratosphere some have put him at without actually having seen him play. I’m excited about the potential of what he could bring to the D but bring it down a notch

Because I think they’re the best defense in the country in 2018 but not the best ever.

Not really that hard of a concept.

Our nickel and dime packages should be unreal with vincent and joseph playing the slot. Front 7 should be amazing. I do think we need to prove we can stop the big physical offensive line teams that can run right at you like state, bama, and uga will bring though.....just based off last year. I do think we will, but that would be my question mark.

You bring it down a notch. The last 3 weeks have been one kick to the sack after another.

I’m gonna cling to this good news like a tick.

I wish I could get on it Ocean. I just don't have the faith in the head coach. I open to having him prove me wrong, but I can't get there before the season. I've tried for a while now. Keeping an open mind and realizing the potential is about as far as I can take it.

The Fulton news could be a game changer though. I recognize that for sure. You have an elite CB opposite your AA stud CB and it solves your biggest depth problem. Plus, it's positive juju going into the season vs the negative cloud from the suspensions. Let's hope those things carry us along with The Burrow.
