re: Not a single bid for NCAAT has been stolen yet
Yea and we battled all the way back to get down by 4 midway through in the second half.

Then of course the wheels fell off and we got hammered. But, definitely an intriguing matchup if we can make it past state again.

Yeah, that game was actually pretty close before we ran out of gas and the wheels fell off... Would be interesting to see what WW could do with a full strength team

I really liked what rick Barnes said about not giving a shite about the conference tournament.

that's kinda what I'm banking on to get us to the semis on Saturday.

I hope so, because once we're there maybe the team will have some belief of "we can do this" going into Semifinal Saturday

Today is a big day for bubble teams:

Louisville v. Florida St. (want FSU to win)
OU vs. Oklahoma St. (want OU to win)
Syracuse v. UNC (absolutely need UNC to win)
DePaul v. Marquette (a DePaul win would crush MU's chances)
Notre Dame v. Va. Tech (want Va. Tech to win)

No bids stolen yesterday, but it was a bad day of close call for LSU's bubble hopes.

Louisville got a win they had to have. OSU got a big win and in the process may have knocked OU out of the tournament. Marquette survived what would have been a knockout blow loss to DePaul. Fricken Notre Dame came back in the 2nd half to get a big win in a game Va. Tech. controlled in the first half. And Texas held off ISU to give them (according to ESPN) a 99% chance of making the tournament. Conversely, a loss would have knocked them out (per ESPN). Syracuse lost and Arizona St. MAY have suffered one too many loses.

Today is another HUGE day. All of the above winners are playing 1 or 2 seeds which means opportunities for BIG wins. Alabama is playing for their tournament lives vs. A&M. The glut of mediocrity that is the Pac 12 continues. And, of course, LSU starts their unexpected march through March!

I was watching all those games last night and found myself yelling at the tv...knowing full well that we need to win at least 3 games anyway to have a shot

That DePaul game was brutal. I thought for sure they were gonna win after they got the steal with under 10 seconds remaining.

DePaul couldn't have gotten a better shot if they ran that set 100 times! The guy that has been red-hot all second half inexplicably gets left WIDE OPEN for a game winning shot. I think he thought about the shot and hesitated for just a split-second instead of just letting it fly and that was the reason it came up just short.

Yea, that dude was lighting it up in the second half. He didn’t have the legs at the end there. Great play call though.
