He didn't know wtf to do right there. If Dugas would have tried to put on the breaks at the point Cain gave it to him he probably would have fallen down, or ended up half way between third and home hung up.

He was probably watching the relay and not the runner. As soon as SS had it, that’s probably when he tried to hit the stop
