No reason to melt so hard over this game

Losing a chance at 1 seed sucks but we’ll be no worse than a 3. Florida is just a bad match up. We played mediocre against them in all 3 match ups. They already beat us with Wade and we barely won on the road. Team will rebound and be ready to go for the tourney.

I don't see many melts over the L. Rather the manner in which the L came was suspect.

I think we are more likely a 4 seed after this game. No one on the committee is going to do us any favors.

It hurts because if our administration was committed to winning, they would have handled the Wade situation better and we would have had him for this game.

I’m still wondering why the refs never reviewed the 3 pt shot made by Florida roughly 3 seconds after the Naz Reid foul... they review every fricking thing else...

It hurts, but this is what seems to always happen in the SEC tournament. Whether its the BS ejection of Shaq against Tennesee, hot Arkansas team that SEC wants in the NCAA, take your pick.
Truthfully, LSU has been lucky to pull out some of these recent late finishes. Better to have bad breaks now than next week.
I think they're better served to go into the tournament angry and motivated, with a full week to rest. Playing tomorrow and then UK/Tenn rematch on sunday wouldn't have helped them next week. We could've had injuries. And 2 vs 3 seed is really a minimal difference.

It’s not a game melt. It’s a state of the program melt. And our coach who brought us to this point deserved to be out there today
