No more Brennan slander will be allowed on this forum!!!

That’s it’s I’m putting a stop to this now!!
Sure he was tentative, and missed wide open recievers, and for a 4th year player looked scared, and he might have ran out a clean pocket one or 2 or maybe a few times and he did throw a few inaccurate balls
But he did have 3 TD one of em being a great catch by Arik that should have been a INT but still WE WILL NOT ADMIT WE WERE WRONG ABOUT OUR GOLDEN BOY!!

Technically, on a message board, it is libel. Not slander.

I'll admit to believing he was better than he was. In fact, I remembered him throwing absolute darts out there in the trash times when he was allowed to throw. I REALLY thought he would put it all together and be MUCH better than what we saw. I believed in him being the one to lead the team and to be an above average quarterback. Not Burrow quality, but better than the other 5 we've had before Burrow.
Unfortunately this just isn't the case. It didn't help him that we came out and aggressively tried to out air raid the air raid genius. I swear we ran more empty backfields and throwing plays than we did last year. Almost like we were going to damn well prove we could beat Leach at his game. Maybe if we had left a back in the backfield and done more play action or power type plays, he could have been more comfortable. At any rate, it was a crap show all around.
